Hey amazing fam! ๐ Hope this letter finds you doing well.
Lately, I've been thinking about how people sometimes drift away from our lives without any clear reason - even though they're active online (I know you can feel me on that). Communication is key, and silence just leaves you guessing. You start questioning: Are you not important to them anymore, or did something change? ๐ฆ It's something we all go through โ losing touch with folks who used to be close. You start wondering: What happened? ๐ค Maybe they moved, changed numbers, or just needed some space. ๐ถ๐พโโ๏ธ Either way, it's good to keep them in our thoughts and prayers because we never really know what they're dealing with. ๐
On a personal note, I remember years ago when I got back in touch with someone who had been gone for a while. Turns out, life had thrown a bunch of challenges their way. ๐ฏ It wasn't about me; they were just dealing with tough times. It was so nice to reconnect and see how much they've grown. ๐ So, my message is simple: donโt give up on people and keep them in your prayers. ๐ Yah has a plan for everyone, and maybe they'll come back into your life when the time is right. ๐
Another angle to consider is maybe the drift is for the best, maybe not. Maybe you messed up, maybe not. โ But here's what I've learned: donโt take everything personally or get easily upset (offended) by others. ๐ค The Bible says,
"Donโt take to heart everything people say, because youโve probably said things you didnโt mean too." ๐ It's a powerful reminder that we're all imperfect and make mistakes.
To provide a bit more context, Ecclesiastes 7:20-22 reads:
20 "For there is not a righteous man on earth who does good and does not sin."
21 "Also, do not take to heart all the words spoken, lest you hear your servant cursing you."
22 "For many times also your own heart has known that even you have cursed others."
Colossians 3:13 says:
"Be patient and forgive each other, just like Messiah forgave you."
This means we should be patient and understanding, not holding grudges. Instead, forgive others like Messiah forgave us for our mistakes. It's a way of showing love and following Yah's command to forgive others (Matthew 6:14-15). ๐
14 "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father shall also forgive you."
15 "But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither shall your Father forgive your trespasses."
It's tough but the right thing to do. ๐ฏ ๐ Letโs try to be more forgiving and understanding, and not let small things hurt us. ๐
However, on the flipside, if and when they eventually come to you and share what has hurt them, avoid deflecting or downplaying their pain, hurt, or frustration. Be slow to speak and willing to listen.๐๐ฝAsk the Spirit to give you compassionate words with understanding instead of a stance of defense. ๐คบ๐ก๏ธ No one likes to admit when their wrong, but the truth is - we all have parts of our personality that might not be easy to see, making it hard to notice our own mistakes.
So hereโs a question for you today:
โWhat lessons have you gained from people who have disappeared from your life, and how do you view these departuresโas losses or opportunities for personal growth?
Share your thoughts and have a beautiful day! ๐๐
