Abba Yah often encourages us in various ways along our faith walk. He also reminds us of important truths during our journey. This is the beautiful work of His Spirit within usāthe Ruach Ha Kodesh. A few days ago, I shared an uplifting testimony of a couple. Today, Iād like to recount a phone call I received from my sister, Cameron Joy, yesterday.
In a nutshell, she spoke with someone who knew both of us through music. Despite not having talked in several years, they unexpectedly reconnected. This person inquired about me, asking how I was doing. Sis Cameron Joy relayed their message: I was instrumental in helping them break free from the confines of the church system. This revelation encouraged me deeply because, for that individual, the church had become a form of ābondage.ā
I share this with you because you, too, may have planted seedsāseeds waiting to sprout. Wondering when theyāll begin to grow?
Remember that harvest takes time.
What makes this story incredible is how Yah nurtured those seeds during my early years of embracing my Hebraic faith. Now, more than 10 years later, Iām just now hearing about them blossoming. Itās a reminder that our conversion, our journey, and our continual stance (even in the face of judgment and criticism) are never in vain.
Yah, the master orchestrator, works uniquely with each of us, following diverse timelines.
Patienceāan art Iām still masteringāis essential. I, too, am being tested in this very thing. For example, as we celebrated our clubās launch and welcomed our first few members, Iām understanding that every significant achievement begins with a single step, and each new member represents progress.
To all dreamers and believers out there: Understand that growth takes time. Patience is the key when building dreams and sowing seeds.
In basketball, coaches often say, the intangibles donāt always show up in the box score but they make a significant impact on winning. āØ
Hold onto your faith as youāre running this race to win the ultimate prizeāthe crown of eternal lifeāwhich can be placed at the feet of Yahusha. To hear those words, āWell done, my good and faithful servant! Come on in, the waterās fine!āāfor you never know whoās observing and being ministered to by your love for the Father, Yah. Just know you are making a difference.
