Hey fam! I hope you're doing well. I’m sending this a bit late, but I wanted to take a moment to chat with you about something that's been on my mind lately. Have you ever felt the need to shed your old identity and embrace a new chapter in your life? I understand all too well the power of transformation. I have experienced it firsthand, with each name change (151 Bacardi, Jymini, Hadassah) symbolizing a shift in my life and music career. But after much reflection, I've decided to go back home to the original name my momma gave me - Octavia.

Octavia holds a significant place in my family's heart. It's a name that has been passed down through generations, 5 Octavia’s in the family, starting with my great grandmother and continuing through to my niece, whom my late brother Jokava named. The name Octavia is a symbol of strength, resilience, and family ties that run deep. So, from now on, you can call me by my birth name without feeling strange about it.

I totally get that most people aren't big fans of change, but you know what? Change can actually be a really good thing! Sometimes, I hear negative comments in my head or from others, saying that I've messed up my career by changing my name too many times. But you know what? I have to remind myself that even though it's important to be consistent when building a brand, I'm not just a brand. I'm a real person who has grown and become much more mentally stable over the years, both as a person and as a music artist. The decisions I'm making now reflect this positive growth.

Whenever you feel doubtful, just recite this affirmation I put up on YouTube today from Psalm 100:5 and regain your confidence. You've got this!

I just wanted to share this with all of you because you've been such incredible supporters of my music. Your love and acceptance mean the world to me, and I wanted to be open and honest with you about this decision. As you know I've been making music under the name Hadassah Queen O, and I'll continue to release music under that name on my Spotify and other digital platforms. It's been amazing to see how many of you have embraced that name and still refer to me as Hadassah or Queen. I want you to know that it's absolutely fine to keep calling me that if you feel comfortable.

Thanks again for being so understanding! I'm really excited to keep sharing the new musical inspiration that Yah has given me. Can't wait to see what you think about this GOOD record.
